Nutley

Nutley is located approximately 13 miles from New York City.  It is a family-oriented town that boasts a great sense of community, shopping and night-life.  Commuters to NYC have the option to ride the rails (there is nearby train station in Delawanna) or take the bus (NJ Transit buses or DeCamp are available) to work.  We are close to major highways such as Route 3, the Garden State Parkway and the NJ Turnpike.  The neighborhoods in Nutley, such as Avondale, Franklin and Yanticaw to name a few, are friendly and quiet. The neighborhood schools have a highly rated pubic school district from grades Pre-K to K-12.  

Nutley also has many lovely parks to enjoy.  They are considered the “crown jewel” of the Essex County Park System.  The township maintains over 10,000 trees and over 100 acres of recreational land.  You are no more than a half mile from a park or playground. 

For all foodies, Nutley is home to a few great restaurants, such as Luna’s Woodfire Tavern, Ralph’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant and MEAL Restaurant. They are conveniently located down-town on Franklin Avenue, where you will also find other businesses such as coffee shops, barbers, salons and groceries, many are in walking distance. Throughout the year, Nutley hosts community events for the whole family to participate in, from the annual classic car show, the farmers market to the fall festival....there is something for everyone.
